Children of the First

Hey everyone!
I'm still working on the bonus content, which will go up as soon as possible tonight.
Chapter 10 will be written tonight, but depending on what time it is when I finish it, it might not go up until tomorrow. I'll give you an update as soon as I know for sure.
I'm off to apply for a job now; wish me luck!

UPDATE (9:06pm central): So I still haven't finished the bonus thingy. This is mainly due to an old friend of mine returning from the dead and showing up at my house (with some sad news that I shan't go into).

On the plus side, he did hire me to do some handyman work, so that'll be a little change in my pocket. However, he's working on the apartment now and would like my help as he works through the night. That makes it tough to spend the night writing the new chapter.

The plan is as follows: I finish the bonus thing, post it, call my friend, and then (most likely) head over to work.

Sorry, all. I really wanted to get chapter ten up tonight, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. The paying job has to take priority over the non-paying job (at least until I have enough cash to keep me fed for the rest of the month).

I'll do my best to get the chapter up tomorrow; but if he still has work for me, it may take as long as until Wednesday (though I hope not, I'm really excited for this chapter!)
