Hey guys, sorry there was no update yesterday, but i had to blow stuff up with my family. The fourth was fun, and the multiple birthday party the night before was a blast. There was merriment, jocularity, and good times. Notable facets: a shanty town (tents designated "Drunk Bunks" or "Hook-up Huts"), attempted "fratting" that was uniformly shunned, and my cousin playing a twelve-string ovation while I played a beat on a cooler and some new friends rapped in Spanish.
The new chapter is in the works and will be up late tonight (early am) or early-ish tomorrow. It is demanding careful consideration because of it's importance to Shawn's father's character and their relationship, so it will take me a while, but should turn out well. Next week the updates should be more regular, but then I'm driving across the country so we will see what effect that has.
Loki (our collie) says hi, and adds "I'm so fluffy. Fluffy fluffy fluff fluff."
He really is. (And the word fluffy has now lost all meaning.)
Ok, so for the next couple of weeks I'm changing the schedule to twice a week. This means it could be a chapter Monday and a chapter Tuesday, or it could be one Monday and one Saturday.
My schedule is going to be pretty strange, what with my visit up here to Maryland, and the drive from New Orleans to the Grand Canyon to Los Angeles the week after. So, I won't really know when i'll have time to write the stories. I hope to have one up this Friday, but I'm having a party Thursday and Friday is the Fourth of July, so I don't know what will happen with that.

It's now 3:00 AM on July first, and it is officially my birthday. I have the chapter for today pretty much finished, I just have to fix one part and give it an edit. I'm too tired from traveling all day (airplane was hell on my ears) to do that now, so i'll try to get to it tomorrow. It, ya know, I don't, then it will be up early Wednesday. Now I am off to bed.
